Explore the elegance of Watercolor Irises in this creative workshop inspired by the distinctive style of Charles Mackintosh. We will paint expressive irises in watercolor and then add a unique finishing touch: these paintings will be outlined in graphite after the paint has dried, giving them a stained glass effect. Very contemporary. We will do these paintings in the style of Charles Mackintosh, who was a British architect and his use of lines was extraordinary, using graceful line work to enhance the shapes and bring a modern, graphic quality to the watercolor.
